MARK VARDY - OWNER OF SILVAR DESIGN
	Mark Vardy has a passion for jewellery making. He has a Level 3 NCFE certificate in craft and specialises in precious metal jewellery, mainly using sterling silver. Originally an electronics engineer, he is now a qualified adult education teacher as well as a silversmith. Mark found Silvar Design in 2004, teaching a vast array of techniques from his studios in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. He covers everything from costume jewellery design, macramé and kumihimo braiding through to stringing techniques, enamelling on copper and manufacturing silver jewellery. His business Silvar Design produces jewellery and home décor craft kits and is a UK stockist for Tela Artis Bead Embroidery and Caydo Electric Knitting products. Mark regularly demonstrates craft techniques on Hobby Maker & Sewing Street TV shopping channels. He is also co-creator of Crafter's Retreats with Supercraft colleague Jennie Turner-Maskell.
